Name: Sayden Dren
Title: Captain
Race: Human
Appearance: Sun Tanned White Skin, accentuated with a fiery crimson hair tone. His face is then covered with a thick red goatee and eye brows. The eyes are a mesmerizing emerald green, and bring out the youthful qualities hidden amongst his harden scars of sea life.
He stands a standard 5' 11'', and sports a slender yet toned form, augmented by bulky arms and legs. Trained from his years of fishing to full out naval command, his body has become one with the strenuous activities of running and upholding a proper ship.
Personality/Quirks: Unlike many of the Antiochian Armada's Naval Commanders, Sayden Dren runs his ship with compassion, and respect, straying from the orderly oppressive ways of his compatriots. Sayden has always had a sense of moral right and wrong and finds himself at odds with much of his orders. His hero status among the Empire has led to his safety from the Emperor's wrath, not to mention he is the best Naval commander in all the seas. He is modest in the face of his crew, yet confident to his enemies.
Religion: The Antiochian Church, as was before the usurpation of Zhang Zu. Believes to much injustice, inequality, and bureaucracy exists in the new covenant.

Gear: Brown Sailor Slacks, Black Tunic and Over Coat. Three Point Officers Hat. Waist to Chest Belt, Musket Pistol, Rapier, led balls, and a small seaman's dagger.
Faction: Antiochian Empire, Imperial Armada. (Loosely)
History:
Born in a small Fishing Village in Ferwynn Tameel, along the Sea of Anthrope where the Kreylii River pours into the ocean, young Sayden Dren was brought up to be a factor of the Noble House Dren. Yet in the small fishing village of Point Hook, his mind wandered to the oceans and he was found much of the time marveling at its large expanse.
By Age 13, Sayden had become a masterful fisherman, and was often allowed to travel into the oceans with his Nobel Father Salden Dren, brother to the House Leader. Salden, unlike his brother, was patient and not shrewd seeing the importance of letting life have its way with things. Seeing his sons disinterest in Factoring the Great House, Salden decided to instruct him in all he knew about sailing.
As he approached Age 17, Sayden had already taken command of his own merchant and fishing vessel, Bounty. By this time, Sayden's cousin Salin Dren had reached aged 19 and became a factor and potent force in the House Dren Council. In an attack by a fractured uprising within the house, assassin’s attempted to eliminate the House Leader Salorus Dren (Sayden’s uncle), however Sayden's father was mistaken for the target and killed.
This soon inflamed into a political war, as the house civil war again came to a stalemate. To busy with his grandeur for the oceans, Sayden remained transfixed on his merchant and fishing operations, trying to block out the despair over his father’s untimely death. As the missionaries from Antioch began to arrive in full force, Salin, saw this as a chance to put a force of power on his side. Selling himself and the House to the Empire he personally killed his father in a fixed duel and seized head of the House. Sayden was then ordered to join the Imperial Armada, and was relocated to Galatia to ensure he could not pester with his cousin’s plans.
For 2 years he trained and climbed the ranks of the navy all the way to Captain of his own ship, the HHS Judicator. Early in his post, he was put to the test during the Dark Insurrection. While the Lich Lord’s forces laid siege to the capital city, a large force of vessels attempted to enter the Harbor. Focusing However, foreseeing the failed defense the Judicator pushed its way into harbor in site of the Golden Towers of the Capital. For 12 hours one after another the dark forces fleet advanced but could not defeat the HHS Judicator. For within the Harbor of Antioch the Dark Fleet was unable to use its numbers. These staggering losses to the enemy fleet caused them to flee and are thought to have saved the entire defensive effort in city from falling. On top of this already legendary title, Sayden was also celebrated for defeating the Infamous Pirate, Seamus the Black Stare, along with close comrade Dokujurochi of the Imperial Guard. Though not captured or killed his ship was destroyed and pride diminished. It is unknown where he escaped to.
Shocked by the apparent betrayal of the Captain of the Guard, and his death, Sayden’s trust in the Empire has begun to falter. Now at Age 34, he remains in command of his same ship, yet “reassigned” (actually demoted) to the Southern Sea. His distrust for the New Emperor and inability to obey has led to his position as a Pirate chaser in these mostly safe waters. Yet still he proves to be a formidable force and keeps his job serious. However his doubts and faith in the old ways of the Empire and House Dren are rooted deep and continuously dissipate his loyalty to the throne.
