Name: Riku
Age: 16
Appearance: Riku is of average height, with a rather athletic frame. He had always been naturally muscular, but his recent channeling of darkness could only have toned him even more. His hair is silver, shoulder length, and very unkempt, causing it to drape over his ice blueish, aqua colored eyes. Riku's skin is rather pale, considering the amount of time that he spent dabbling in darkness, which usually tends to darken one's skin. He sports a zipper-up black hoodie with the sleeves cut off. Layered on top of the sweatshirt, is a white vest, lined with yellow coloring. As for pants, he wears a pair of overly baggy blue jeans. Athletic sneakers and a wrapping of tape around his left hand and wrist are the final pieces of his attire.
Personality: Though his recent doubts about the struggle of light and darkness have left him confused, Riku has transitioned considerably more back to his 15 year old, cocky self. When fighting important battles alongside Sora, he often boosts the latter's performance with friendly taunting, such as, "What's the matter, Sora? Can't you keep up?" Riku can also fool others into thinking he is emotionless, due to his espionage activities within Organization XIII. This cause people to often question whether or not he has fallen back into darkness. One look into his eyes, and a friendly challenge though, one will see that it is Riku of the Destiny Islands. Not Riku of the Darkness.
After lending a hand to Sora in the victory over Xemnas, the two returned to Destiny Islands to be reunited with Kairi. Now that he is home, he has time to duel with his friends and keep his skills well seasoned. The only difference from Riku of a year ago till now is the wish to see other worlds. He no longer has the burning desire to get away from his island. Riku is now content with where he is, after realizing that home is where the Heart is. And Riku realizes now that the Heart is where his friends are.
Abilities: Although Riku has lost the majority of his Dark Powers, he can still channel Darkness in a sort of projectile. He can also use Darkness to create a barrier or shield against most attacks. He is able to summon The King (Mickey Mouse) to aid him in battle whenever his in danger. Other than his limited control over Darkness and support from King Mickey, his only real ability is how well synced his brain is with his body. This leads to him being able to pull off very athletic and acrobatic maneuvers. The only other perk that could be considered an ability would be his well developed trash talk.
Weapons: Riku, like all Keyblade Masters, uses his Keyblade as a weapon. His Keyblade, Way to the Dawn, highly resembles his weapon from when he dwelled in Darkness, Soul Eater. The shaft of Way to the Dawn is shaped like a demon wing, while the teeth of the Key is more of an angelic looking wing. The handle is red, and the surrounding hilt guards are made up of both an angelic and demonic wing. The Keychain on that hangs on the end is the Heartless emblem. This Keyblade clearly represents Riku's mastery of both light and darkness.
Just like his best friends, though, he has found that the the Heart is the mightiest weapon of all.
